The problem I'm reporting is identical to that one posted by flv7a at http://www.flightgear.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=693 , the picture http://www.flickr.com/photos/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/2091708882/ he reports there looks the same as my one, although he runs a CentOS machine, not a WinXP as I am. Anyway, checking "Triple Buffering" and forcing "24 Bit Z-Buffer depth" didn't help at all.
