Hi Innis,
I'm only frustrated because the FlightGear ftp server does indeed spit out
useful and informative messages when there is a problem. However, many
fancy gui ftp clients and web browsers do not pass those along to the end
user, but instead report misleading messages or nothing at all and just ask
for a username/password ... all in the name of making things easier I guess.
I don't think it has any thing to do with anyone going backwards or
forwards. I'm sorry if my frustration made you frustrated.
