But that would not work for all cases. E. g. the pogo has two rotors, but it is intended to be flown with a normal throttle (because it is more an airplane than a helicopter). And maybe in future someone would like to use a rotor as the propeller in a YASim Aircraft (rotors produce downwash acting on the elevator and rudder, which make some differences, not only on acrobatic aircrafts) while YASim propellers don't..
What's about an extra general property /controls/rotor/collective, which is by default the same as the throttle of the first engine and can be inverted either in the preferences or in the menu? With this approach we would be able to split throttle and collective in a clear way for older helicopters without governor. > m. > Best regards, Maik ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H _______________________________________________ Flightgear-users mailing list Flightgear-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/flightgear-users
