Hi there,
Apron markings were a very complex process. I started with google maps
satellite image, traced the taxiway/apron markings in AutoCAD, saved the result
to PDF, then imported layout into Gimp where I played with texture until it
looked almost like concrete. Then I created the apron in Blender and mapped the
gimp teture onto the object. Needs some work, but I'm getting there.
I looked at the website for Zan's scripts, but do not see a link to the script.
Is there a direct link? It would be very cool to import flightgear terrain into
Blender! :-)

Yes (http://gallery.flightgear.ru/main.php?g2_itemId=586), with Zan's scripts
But it hard then place airport object corectly.
