Hi Angel,

Are you aware that FlightGear has native support for driving multiple
monitors. Look in Docs/README.multiscreen.

If you are using something like a matrox triple head 2 go or nvidia
twin-view, FlightGear can assign "cameras" to regions of your one large
virtual screen, and allows you to define independent view parameters for
each camera.

If you have multiple separate displays connected to a single computer,
FlightGear can open up multiple windows, (i.e. one on each monitor) and
again allows you to configure view properties for each individual window.

The only limitation I have found is that the menu and dialog boxes are only
drawn on the first camera/window. Likewise, any 2d panel can only be drawn
on the first window. But if you are using an aircraft with a 3d instrument
panel the multi-monitor limitations with 2d panels are not an issue (3d
panels are happily split across all the displays.)

One nice thing about using the native FlightGear multiscreen support is that
any dynamic or random elements in the scene are perfectly matched as they
move from one display to the next ... this might include things like
multiplayer traffic (which may not be in perfect sync if you use multiple
computers to drive multiple screens), also things like random 3d clouds,
time of day, smoke effects, airport beacon light rotations at night, etc.

Best regards,

Curt.
