Hi Angel,

I won't try to claim that FlightGear's capabilities covers all possible
situations, and unfortunately I am not familiar with chromium (it sounds
very interesting.)

It is possible to run a copy of FlightGear on each of two computers and have
each computer drive 2 displays. All 4 displays can have individually
configured view parameters. Then you can assign one of the computers to be
"master" and one to be "slave". The master PC can be configured to emit
flight data via udp packets at a high rate. The slave is configured to
disable its own built in flight dynamics and instead read in the udp packets
sent from the master.

The possible downside to this approach is that if the render rates are not
high enough, there can be some visual discrepancies in updates between the
different displays. The slave typically renders one frame behind the
master. One thing that might help is to configure both dual-head visual
displays to be slaves of a 3rd master machine, this increases the chance
that all 4 displays will update simultaneously .

There may be different advantages to a chromium based solution, and there
could be very valid reasons for using it. I don't mean to imply anything
negative about chromium here, I just wanted to point out that FlightGear
does have a lot of built in support for driving multiple displays in a
variety of ways, and for many situations doesn't require external "help".

Best regards,

Curt.
