Somehow you've misinterpreted something.

I've been using Linux for almost twenty years, so I'm well aware of the 
tar command.
And that's that same one I used in my Debian box to try to extract the 
file, after renaming it.
But after hitting Enter, it just hangs there, and does absolutely 
nothing. I have to Cntl-C out of the loop.

But, I'm getting a different MD5sum than what I'm supposed to be 
getting, so I don't think that's the problem.

But, thanks anyway for the suggestion.
