I did the same thing i stopped going then my life went into chaos and i prayed and prayed but then the latest thing i went through may have been different had i had been a part of a church and utilized the resources instead of thinking i can do everything on my own or with just prayer when God says in his word we need that covering and i finally see why now i think alot people also get turned away from church because of tithes and not having th money to pay them and then you get frustrated and say why do they need my money when i need it to pay bills but i think God shows us everything is lessons and we just have to submit to his will children really do change our maturity in decision making
