[STR New] Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2185 Version: 1.3-current Firstly: I had checked out svn fltk-1.3 branch and annotated src/Fl_c.cxx file. There is uncommented XCloseIM function calls now(that had been added later than FIXME comment, so this can possibly be another critical bug and cause crashes with older versions of xserver), and I remeber that I had experienced crashes with xorg-server-1.3 when I was using fltk applications. I just have had no time to investigate this problem and just upgraded xorg-server. Now I have xorg-server-1.5 and I have no crashes. Maybe that uncommented XCloseIM caused that crashes, I'll try to figure out this later today. Maybe this calls should be surrounded with some #if #else #endif statements to handle both buggy and non buggy XCloseIM function. As related to memory leak, I'll try uncomment that line and watch memory usage. But it seems that it can be another thing, cause my memory leaks seem to be much bigger than your ones.
