[STR New] Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2281 Version: 1.3-feature The document of fltk-1.3.x said(some keywords were capitalized): "Copies the data pointed to by stuff to the SELECTION (0) or PRIMARY (1) clipboard. The SELECTION CLIPBOARD is used for middle-mouse pastes and for drag-and-drop selections. The PRIMARY CLIPBOARD is used for traditional copy/cut/paste operations." So, 0->selection clipboard: middle-mouse(or highlight) copy/paste + DND 1->primary clipboard: ^c/^v copy/paste The "selection clipboard" and "primary clipboard" are confusing. Who are they? "PRIMARY selection","CLIPBOARD" or mixing of both? I think that "selection clipboard" here should be replaced with "PRIMARY selection" and "primary clipboard" should be replaced with "CLIPBOARD". >I think that the PRIMARY selection is used for highlighted text >operations, and the CLIPBOARD is used for DnD and regular ^c/^v >operations. Though I coule well be worng about that. PRIMARY selection is used for DnD and hilighted text. CLIPBOARD is used for regular ^c/^v. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X_Window_selection Link: http://www.fltk.org/str.php?L2281 Version: 1.3-feature _______________________________________________ fltk-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.easysw.com/mailman/listinfo/fltk-bugs
