However, unless you are already experienced with Unicode, wide chars and UTF-* in general, the descriptions are pretty confusing. Plus the fact that there's some FLTK-1.2 and FLTK-2 overlap in functions which makes it difficult for a newcomer to know which are the preferred ones and which are the deprecated ones.
