This is an attempt to output in PostScript as many characters as possible by using both text and symbol fonts. The result is that all of unicode until U017F (that is, ASCII + Latin-1 + Latin-Extended-A), the Euro character, MacRoman_minus_ISO8859-1, the Greek alphabet, and many symbols, are supported. Attached file ps_v4.diff is the necessary FLTK-1.3 patch. TestLatinPS_v4.cxx is a demo program that displays all supported characters on screen and in a PostScript file, and gives their unicode values.
