Just read that the Type=MimeType used in fluid/x-fluid.desktop is
deprecated, and that the whole file should be superseded by an XML
file. Luckily /usr/share/mime/application/x-fluid.xml is already
provided by http://freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/shared-mime-info

On my system, the exact same file is also provided by codeblocks
and xine-ui, so we could take a copy too for reference purposes.
The advantage of using the shared-mime-info version, if installed,
is that we get the latest language customisations for free.

Do we need to have a backup strategy to install something if
shared-mime-info is not already installed or do we just stick with
the deprecated fluid/x-fluid.desktop as the fallback solution?
[I've no idea how to check for it in configure/cmake :-( ]
