It's old, we can't manage it (Greg, do you still have that old MS IDE ?), and there are wrong build options (as you noted, default Cairo build), so that we frequently get user questions about it. IMHO we should move it to the deprecated directory before release (ASAP). -1 for removing ide/VisualC6. It's a working solution for users of older VS versions. There may be users that can't upgrade to newer versions because of compatibility restrictions or company policies. Matt, can we keep the fluid generation process, at least for developers? I know that the VisualC6 files can be converted to VS 2008 format, and this can be used with (and converted to) VS 2010, but Matt wrote about some problems converting the 2008 project to 2010 format. Thus, it might be useful to have both. There's no way to convert the VC6 files directly to VS 2010 format.
