Yes, I have Visual C++ "Express" (2005).. first free version MS came out with. I know wikipedia says 2008 is the first (our README.IDE as well), but I swear mine says 2005. Pic: http://seriss.com/people/erco/fltk/tmp/vc2005express.jpg The oldest I have is VS 7.NET which says 2002. (I depend on this 'purchased' compiler for all my commercial builds, so I have a strong dependence on its continued operation.) The newest I have is VS Express 2008. All compile FLTK fine with the fltk.dsw Albrecht> IMHO we should move [ide/VC2005] to the deprecated directory Albrecht> +1 for removing ide/vc2005 +1 from me as well to remove ide/VC2005. I don't need it, I just tried it because I saw it was the same compiler version that I had. Albrecht> -1 for removing ide/VisualC6. -1 from me as well. I typically ALWAYS use the fltk.dsw file. It moves around, but I find it and use it. It's also human readable. (sln files are so full of hex, they might as well be binary.) AFAIK, fltk.dsw handles everything except VS 2010. See README.IDE for matt's description. But I'm *not* sure why we have a VisualC2008 dir; my VS2008 Express loads/compiles the VisualC6/fltk.dsw just fine.
