I know the ${xxx} names work in VS7, but I don't think any of the devs actually have VS6. Guess we have to change that to static names instead. If we do that, I don't think it will harm anything, as the thing we were originally trying to fix, IIRC, was a discrepancy between Debug and Release builds; one used a separate dir, the other didn't. So whether the dir names are specified statically or with ${xxx} shouldn't matter.
