I proposed my scripts for inclusion in SVN proper last year, but
there are other developers that wanted to come up with a more "robust"
solution that could handle partial merges and other stuff like what
svk does, but as a core part of Subversion...  Anyways, I've been
using those scripts for over a year now (and still no improved branch
and merge support in Subversion... :)
