+1 Looking at the logs, there is a hell of core changes! I have to ask this: will be there drastic break-all-current-code-all-over-the-world changes again ?
Current api stabilized very much and rest-of-the-world is not very keen to update their code to the changes. It would be nice if someone could post here something like a roadmap of drastic changes so some user don't get a heart attack when it's code is unable to compile with the latest revision. Btw. (althought in the log is stated) are there real needs to remove all those members from Group, removing that small amount of compatibility with the 1.x code ? Can we hear thoughts from the others ? -- Sanel > Cannot agree more. > > I would add that changing internal structure everyday clearly shows a lack of > distance and synthesis taken on the architecture, > making it looking more like an unstructured amusement rather than a solid > development, this is not how i consider what fltk2 should be... > Really pissed off, sorry. > > +1 > > Fabien > > > > a Widget* rather than a Group*. > > > > > > This is still a work in progress, as the basic Widget does draw or do > > > anything with it's children, and several widgets such as menus are > > > still subclasses of Group rather than of Widget. > > > > Bill, I'm going to be blunt here: MAKE A FUCKING BRANCH FOR DISRUPTIVE > > CHANGES YOU AREN'T FINISHING IN A SINGLE COMMIT.
