Ah, I assumed it was parallel current dev.

Long story but I am evaluating.

Some news perhaps. I am using open watcom on xp. I can report that 1.3 does 
compile and seems to work. watcom 1.7a which is current.
Took a while to work out what was needed but in the end was easy.

v2 is whole different game, needs a reworked build system. Snag is that I am 
neither c++ nor a make capable, I think the other way around. (ancient and more 
at home in deep embedded realtime, looking for a wrapper for ansi c with cross 
platform possibilities)

Painful but I am taking a stab at getting cmake to help.

As I understand it v2 is more likely to be acceptable for mainsteam users cross 
platform. I've never seen what this looks like, hence the attempt to get a 
build.
