        I don't know there's a way to do it without giving yourself
        a google account. It's free, and I don't remember it asking
        for much personal info.. and I'm pretty paranoid about that stuff.

        Are there issues with google accounts that I should know about?

        FWIW, I don't have a gmail account; the google accounts stuff
        is separate. Similar to the account we have at fltk.org for
        SVN access.
