        I'd say it's within the spirit of the coding standards that
        this be OK, since a) it's platform specific, and b) should not
        be an issue for "embeddable device compilers" which I think
        the restriction is for.

        Anything "embeddable" with cocoa (iphone?) is surely to support
        this feature of the compiler.

        But yes, Mike and Matt should weigh in.
        Seems a safe bet it'd be OK.
