Yes, my attempt to ask the printer if it can alpha blend led to nowhere
because all reply NO, even the one, XPS, that does blend correctly.

With XPS and PDFprinter, fl_alpha_blend() returns 1. They blend
differently: XPS perfectly, PDFprinter assuming a white background,
that is not so bad.
