Many thanks for all your input. Because focus on releasing FLTK-1.3 is essential now, I conclude that I will prepare an Fl_Clipboard_Writer class as an MSWindows & Mac OS-only add-on to FLTK-1.3 and put it in the Bazaar. A precision about the clipboard content under Mac OS: Graphical data is best put as both PDF and PICT flavors. This way, new apps read the PDF and old ones the PICT, and paste succeeds in most cases. However, 64-bit apps don't allow the PICT format. It's only in that case that I put the data in an image format in the clipboard (and I will change from jpeg to tiff or png following your remarks), thus loading the clipboard with PDF + png versions of the same data. _______________________________________________ fltk-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.easysw.com/mailman/listinfo/fltk-dev
