In the regular Windows task manager, click on View -> Select Columns
and enable the 'threads' checkbox.
For parent/child relationships, even though Microsoft is supposedly
a 'flat' process model, the OS does keep info about parent/child
relationships somehow, because the Resource Kit had a tool that
would show the process tree, similar to 'ps fax' on Linux.
I think the tool was 'tlist', and it had a -t flag that prints
the task list as a 'tree'.
For instance, on my win7 system:
