Hmm - OK, no idea what that might be. All seems to be OK here. Do you have 1.1 or 1.3 to hand? Do they exhibit the same bug? I'm wondering if this is a graphics driver or WM/compositing type "feature", as we've seen a few of those recently. Can you try a different box? Or even the same box but with a different WM? Just for a few extra test points... <off-at-tangent> I know I had a few quite odd graphics effects on my ubuntu 9.10 box with an ATI graphics card in it, many (not all) of which went away when I upped that box to 10.04. (This using the open source driver, not the ATI binary driver.) Another ubuntu box (also 10.04 but with an nvidia card and using the nvidia binary driver) does not exhibit the bugs, nor do the winXX and OSX builds, so I *assume* it is a problem in the graphics driver layer (not my code!)
