By default fltk only has a "main" thread, and our recommended practice
for users of the lib is to only ever create/destroy window based widgets
from the main thread too (this is a portability issue - not all host
platforms are happy about creating windows form a non-main thread...)

So, I guess the answer is that no, fltk is not using OLE/COM from
separate threads - unless the CSound folks did something specific there.
