Please note that I got this backwards. OleInitialize calls CoInitialize, not the other way around. Pairing CoInitialize with OleUninitialize *will* cause a problem. It's the OleInitialize/CoUnitialize pair that is not disastrous and leaves cleanup incomplete. Sorry for the confusion.
