Without the patch, the focus goes to "choice0", which maps to the "Cancel" button in the HIG example - I guess that seems reasonable. If the Albrecht patch does break that, I guess we can force the focus back to that button and then "all will be well"! In fltk-2, with Ben's patch, focus is still on "choice0" but that is now the left-most button, so in the "wrong place" to be a "cancel" if we follow the HIG. A question: Running the "message" demo on WinXP now, in fltk-1.x and fltk-2 I see a significant difference in that the fltk-1 dialogs are all undecorated windows, and all pop up at the same screen location. The fltk-2 dialogs are decorated windows - i.e. have close / maximise that actually work (why would you want to be able to maximise a dialog box, though? Well, maybe...) and they pop up in different screen positions, meaning I have to mouse about to click from one to the next... Which is a bit annoying. (Also, the decorations they have are the "full size" decorations, not the little mini decorations that MS seem to adorn their own dialogs with...) Why are the window formats different? It seems odd to me that they would be... -- Ian SELEX Galileo Ltd Registered Office: Sigma House, Christopher Martin Road, Basildon, Essex SS14 3EL A company registered in England & Wales.
