Not so much additions as changes in policy... I'd like to make --enable-threads default to on for all platforms where possible. (I guess if the test for pthread availability fails on *nix then it would be off, but otherwise it is always on.) Also, on X I'd like to make --enable-xft the default, too, because it really does improve text rendering a lot. That said, the O'ksi'd UTF patch doesn't work with Xft at present it seems, so we'd have to sort that first... (and..
