In case anyone is interested... Here:

http://www.imm.uklinux.net/fltk/fltk118-utf8-2007-06-27.tar.bz2

is a "work in progress" shot of my attempts to convert the fltk 1.x
font indexes from uchar to something a bit bigger (since 256 fonts is
a bit limiting on today's systems...)

This build seems to work perfectly well for me - the API is as
basically as for any fltk-1.1 version but the binary API has
obviously changed - see the included CAUTIONS file for some things to
be aware of.

I'm off on vacation at the weekend, and will be incommunicado for a
while, so I wanted to get this out before I left.

In the meantime, the last "known good" version is still here:

http://www.imm.uklinux.net/fltk/fltk118-utf8-2007-06-23.tar.bz2

I've been using this and it does seem to be OK.

As ever - comments and feedback welcome (although it may be a couple
of weeks before I can do anything about it!)

Cheers,

Ian
