Not sure if anyone cares since I'm using flphoto 1.2 (as shipped on
Mandriva 2007.0), but whereas gtkam 0.1.13 works with a Canon PowerShot
A560 PTP/IP camera hooked up via USB, flphoto 1.2 misbehaves. The main
reason for this post is that the release notes for 1.3 do not seem to
address the issue described below.

gtkam 0.1.13 correctly shows all of the photos on the SD card in the
camera. flphoto 1.2 does not.

The photos displayed are the lowest numbered pictures as only the
earliest photos are shown on the import dialog. At the moment, about
100 photos are missing from the Images list on the import dialog.

During flphoto operation, the camera shuts off. Oddly, in the status
control that updates while the camera is being queried, it is evident
that flphoto is processing file names of pictures that do not ever show
up in the Images area after the camera accesses stop. The camera is
observed to shut off in the middle of flphoto operation. This is
repeatable.

With gtkam, the camera has never shut off prematurely. I am willing to
provide more information if it is desired, but flphoto is not useful for
importing pictures directly from the camera. Since gtkam works reliably,
I plan to use it (or another tool) for photo import.

libgphoto2 is 2.2.1.
