Bah! He beat me... Actually, this seems better than mine - I'd modified the code to make the event detail copy on FL_DND_RELEASE rather than on FL_PASTE (which was probably foolish of me) and my version was still choking occasionally in OSX, for some reason I hadn't pinned down.
