Nokia buys Trolltech/Qt: Damn it you guys, if we would have released 1.1.8 in time, those 150 million dollars could have been ours!
:-) :-) :-) I am happy for Trolltech, but I hope that this acqusition will have no negative impact for the Linux community who relies so much on Qt. I doubt though that Nokia would work against that huge customer base, just to get a cell phone gui. On the other hand the question is, how intensly will Nokia be going toward Linux and will they start building bigger PDA style devices (like the Newton R.I.P.) or even Slates, Tablets, or the Nokia super thin notebook (Nokia Air?). Anyways, interesting times.
