Agreed. They can do that because 99.99% of all users do not use the  
shell, and in the Finder, an App bundle looks like a single file to  
the user. OTOH, bundles are still waaaay better than resource and data  
forks, whoch would not survive a file copy via a non-Mac system. And  
you gain very easy internationalisation.

Ah well.... .
