Hi, as for today,
it is not intended that 2.0 replaces 1.3,

1) 2.x branch is architecturally very different from 1.x branch,
though I consider it more of an experimental branch than a stable /
'commercial-strentgh' one, it still used by some people.

2) the 1.3 branch is the 'most compatible' new version of the FLTK 1.x
branch, the newer and probably the most active and supported today.

3) If you want to start with a quite stable branch, you should use IMHO the
1.1.9 version, then the 1.3 version (or use 1.3 even today as some of us
already did).

Sorry for this to be so complicated, fltk 1 and 2 branches should have
different names as they are so different but there are historical reasons for
this.

Hope this helps,
Fabien
