Hello Albrecht, Thanks. I appreciate the info. I have been looking at the code in the last few builds. I think I'm starting to see why it ended up in the state it is in now. Looking under the hood, so to speak, has been an enlightening experience to say the least. I am starting to think about taking a completely different approach. I have always felt like the essence of FLTK was in the low level graphics code anyway. I am considering the idea of stripping it down to that as a base to start building on. That being said, are there any major differences between FLTK1 and FLTK2 with regard to the layers below "widget"? Would it be better to grab the latest FLTK1 build for this purpose? I realize this would be a big job, but having a clean object model on top of the FLTK graphics layer would be very nice! I should have just done this years ago.
Thanks, Gerry _______________________________________________ fltk mailing list [email protected] http://lists.easysw.com/mailman/listinfo/fltk
