You may very well be right Greg - it has been quite a while since I did
a Quickdraw build, so am not *sure* what it actually does anymore. 
I generally select Quartz explicitly for fltk-1.1.x builds these days,
and fltk-1.3 defaults to Quartz of course...
I *thought* my older fltk-1.1 builds with Quickdraw were not aa'd, but
am likely wrong.
