So far all we've done is to convert the 1.1 docs from custom html to
generated doxygen, but we haven't really looked at editorial changes.
I notice that the "Introduction to FLTK" chapter contains a section on
"Building and Installing FLTK Under UNIX and MacOS X" and another on
"Building FLTK Under Microsoft Windows" which covers FLTK itself. The
instructions for users to build there applications are covered in the
second chapter on "FLTK Basics" under three sections.

Once I have a bit more time, I would like to start a discussion on
fltk.development on whether we should also make editorial changes, to
include a separate chapter on building and installing FLTK itself and
on building user applications. This would keep all compiler flags and
options (threads, OpenGL, Xft, etc) in one place.

But there's enough to do for 1.3, so this is probably a job for 1.4...

Cheers
Duncan
