What files is this? Is this a problem specific to cygwin? I am not aware of any problems on WinXP with mingw, for example, so I do not know what problem it is that you are seeing. The support for the older OS8/OS9 Mac code was alpha (and is now abandoned) but there should be no problems on OSX (so long as you don't do a 64-bit build on a 10.6 machine, that is, although we are working on that, too!) I use fltk on OSX a lot, with no issues, so if OSX is your preferred host system, it ought to work well for you, too.
