Well, I may have good news for you. The very newest SVN of FLTK 1.3 now uses 
Cocoa by default instead of Carbon. Since Cocoa is the preferred platform by 
Apple, you may be lucky using this instead. It's not al bug-free yet, but we 
are getting there fast.
