OK, but remember that TextDisplay and TextEditor are the same widget, in
essence, except that one is "read only" whilst the other can be, well,
edited...
So, anyway, the underlying mechanisms are the same in either case.

I still think that some simpler to use widget like a multi-line output
would work for the use case you described though?
Or a browser widget simply filled with lines of text.
