> sprintf(text, "V %d\n", sval++); I jammed a line similar to that in to my original callback, and lo and behold the damn thing does what it's supposed to, but a global validWords[] _doesnt_ go out of scope. It's still full when i try to write words from it to an output buffer, browser or text widget. That gdb idea was a good one. :P
