I have a found a solution to my link errors. I needed to add fltkgld.lib to my 
list of libraries. That's nasty because it doesn't show up in the demo project 
files. So now I have the CubeView demo working in a separate folder without 
including config.h.  Next step is to see if I can compile, link, and execute my 
own app.
