        Is there a reason these fluid code generator hooks
        couldn't be language agnostic?

        I could see FLTK providing sample hook programs
        written in some popular programming language (like C++! ;)
        to show how it works.

        Then advanced users wanting to write their own code gen
        hooks could use that for reference, using any language
        they like, including lua/perl/python/ruby/etc

        Would hate to tie FLTK to any scripting languages to free
        it of dependencies. And as light as e.g. lua might be,
        wouldn't want to bring it on board just for this.
        The fact fluid's c++ code is open means it can be modified
        in a language we're all familiar with and runs fast.
        Not sure what's to gain by using a scripting language
        instead of C++ in this instance.

        I must be missing something.
