FWIW, 2.x themes definitely let you get away with images and let you reskin
widgets without modifying any of the underlying fltk code (using "bool
fltk_theme(){/*...*/}" will let you modify the default theme without any extra
stuff), although as Ian said, the 2.x themes are currently a little broken so
your mileage may vary. Some things work, others don't! :-P
