Sorry chaps, I've just been playing on a WinXP SP3 box and the same happens on that too. So this isn't a vista Only problem. The easiest thing for me to do is to create an STR and upload the fluid file in question. Then you should be able to see the effect yourselves. It is indeed most odd as, depending on which object you open in fluid, the problem is sometimes bad and sometimes not there at all!!
