        These features definitely sound enticing,
        and would certainly affect my decision of whether
        to embrace 3.x or run back to 1.x.

        I want to wait for 3.x to have a chance to materialize
        a bit before I look into it, as often I judge things at
        first glance, and it's hard to shake those impressions
        once made.. so I don't want to jump the gun.
