I'm not sure how useful this library is: although it exposes a "C-like"
interface, it is still effectively C++, so the name mangling and etc. will not
be C-compatible. I'd have expected to see some use of extern "C" to export a
C-callable API from the files.
Note that the example "main.cpp" is still a C++ file... though written in a
C-only fashion.

Also, the files are probably not, strictly speaking, usable anyway - they
contain a copyright attribution "All rights reserved" to the UC, so are not
free software and can therefore not really be used without permission. I'd
imagine that's just an oversight, and that they are meant to be free, but
that's not what it actually says, so... IANAL and all that...
