Hmm, that is an odd one - you are right, that doesn't work... The browser does 
not get redrawn if has_scrollbar() is set to zero.

Though, clicking on the browser items, it would appear that "internally" the 
browser thinks the list *has* been scrolled, and returns the line item that 
*would* be at the clicked position, if the scroll had happened...

If I set the scrollbar width to 1 and set has_scrollbar() non-zero then it does 
work (though a very tiny scroll bar is visible of course...)

Bit of an odd one then... Anyone know what is going on here...?
