OK, this is a strange bug. I can repeat it 100% of the time but
haven't tried it on another machine yet. I have verified that it
doesn't happen in Firefox or Safari.

I have a group in my contacts called "Them" with 3 members. When I
type an address into a new email and allow GMail to auto-populate the
address info, like I type Chr and then hit tab to select the first
address that GMail suggests, and then use backspace to delete that
address, as soon as I get to the first character in the email address,
the members of the group "Them" pops into the To: box. If I continue
trying to delete those addresses, it puts them back as soon as I get
to the first character of the first address that I'm trying to delete.

If I have more than 1 email address in the To: box and try to delete
one, it does it as soon as I get to the first character of the first
one that I was deleting.

If I Command-A to select all and then backspace, it doesn't do it.

If I change the name of the group, it still does it.

If I change the number of email addresses in the group, it still does
it.

If I add additional groups, it uses the first group in the list.

If I add myself to the group, it does not do it.

I'm not a programmer so I have no idea what this might be, but I'm
more than willing to help out any way that I can. Please let me know
if you need any more information.
